Walter Roth Museum of Anthropology is the most visited traveler magnetism in Guyana and is one of the oldest museums in the countryside. This museum was recognized in 1974 but was not opened to the public until 1982. As the name proposes the museum is an anthropology museum which is run by a non-profit association that was created by the management of Guyana.
